A free concert of Chinese vocal music amid the peonies in the Nichols Arboretum Peony Garden. Local musicians led by director Liyan Sun perform a selection of Chinese songs about flowers and their roles in Chinese culture. A rare opportunity to hear live music in the famed peony garden. NOTE: Parking is available weekends for free in the UM blue lot on Washington Hts. Paid parking is also available in the P2 hospital structure on E. Medical Center Dr. Turn right on E. Medical Center Dr. off Washington Hts; the P2 hopsital structure is on the left. Plan on an extra 15 minutes travel time on foot to reach the Arb from the P2 lot.
